Workflows handle the follow-ups you'd normally do by hand, like sending emails, gifts, or tier changes. This guide covers every building block you can use when you create a workflow on Endlss.
What is a workflow?
A workflow is a set of automated actions that runs for each influencer who enters it. Every workflow is built from three parts:
Trigger: The event that adds an influencer to the workflow.
Steps: The actions that happen once they're in.
Rules: Conditions that decide what happens next.
You'll find your workflows under Messages > Workflows.
How do influencers enter a workflow?
Each workflow starts with one trigger, which you pick under How do creators enter this workflow? You can change it later from the Start card.
Trigger | Example use |
When you add a creator | Send a welcome email |
When a creator accepts an invite | Share onboarding tips |
When an application is approved | Send a welcome gift |
When a creator accepts a gift | Share your content guidelines |
When a gift is delivered | Remind them to post about it |
When a creator makes their first sale | Send a congratulations note |
When a creator reaches a number of sales | Upgrade their tier at a sales total you set in Sale number |
What steps can I add?
After choosing a trigger, select the add icon below the Start card to add steps. Steps run in order, from top to bottom.
Send
Use these steps to reach out to or reward the influencer.
Send email: Emails the influencer.
Send notification: Sends the influencer a notification.
Send invite: Invites the influencer to your program.
Send gift: Sends the influencer a product gift.
Send gift card: Adds a set amount to the influencer's Shopify gift card. Shopify emails them the code.
Wait
Use this step to space out your actions.
Wait: Pauses before the next step.
Update the creator
Use these steps to change how the influencer is set up in your program.
Change tier: Moves the influencer to a tier you choose.
Add creator tag: Adds a tag to the influencer.
Remove creator tag: Removes a tag from the influencer.
Select any step to open Step settings and adjust its details.
How do rules and timeouts work?
Rules let a workflow react to what an influencer does. For example, a rule can tag an influencer once they use their gift card.
Select Add below a step, then set up a rule under Or add a rule.
Each rule follows a When and then format.
Your then options include continuing to the next step, updating the influencer, or ending the workflow.
Rules are checked in order, and the first one that matches wins.
A Time out sets how long an influencer waits on a step before moving on. Without one, they stay on that step until a rule matches.
đ„ Hot tip đ„ Check What this workflow does before you go live. It flags anything you still need to fix, like a step that's missing a tier.
