How to Send Money (Ad Hoc Payments) to an Influencer on Endlss

Send a one-time payment to any influencer on your roster directly through Endlss

Endlss lets you send an ad hoc payment to an influencer outside of a formal Agreement. It's a quick way to pay for things like UGC or custom work, and the payment is recorded in the influencer's activity feed automatically.

How do I send a payment?

  1. Go to your Roster and open the influencer's profile

  2. Select Send Money

  3. Enter the amount you'd like to send

  4. Confirm the payment details and select Send

The influencer will receive the funds through Stripe, and the payment will appear in their activity feed.

What are the fees?

Endlss charges a processing fee on the total funds sent based on the payment method selected:

  • ACH (bank transfer): 2%

  • Credit card: 4.3%

  • International processing fee: + 1.5% (on the total funds + processing fee)

    • If a Brand Payment is made using a non-US-issued credit card, an additional 1.5% International Processing Fee will apply to the total amount paid.

🔥 Hot Tip: 🔥 ACH is the most cost-effective option if your payment method allows it. You can update your payment method at any time under Settings > Billing.

💡 Ad Hoc Payment (Send Money) processing fees are different from the ones charged on commission payments.

Are there any limits on how much I can send?

Stripe sets payment limits based on your account. There are no additional Endlss-enforced limits at this time, though a $1 minimum applies to all Send Money payments.

What does the influencer need to do to receive payment?

For an influencer to receive payment, they must have a verified account in Stripe that is ready to accept payment. This will entail providing all required information for KYC compliance reasons, including information that is required for 1099-K purposes.

🔥 Hot tip 🔥 If you're paying an influencer for UGC or a one-off project, Send Money is the fastest way to get them paid without setting up a full Agreement.

What about sales tax, withholding, or other tax obligations?

Endlss via Stripe handles 1099-K reporting only. Brands are responsible for determining and meeting any other tax obligations tied to Send Money payments, including:

  • Sales/use tax: Whether tax applies to payments for influencer services depends on your state (or country) and the nature of the work. This varies by jurisdiction and isn't something Endlss or Stripe tracks or calculates.

  • Withholding tax: If you're paying an influencer based outside the US, you may have withholding obligations under IRS rules for payments to non-US persons. Endlss does not withhold or remit tax on your behalf for Send Money payments.

We recommend talking to your tax advisor to confirm your obligations, especially for cross-border payments or ongoing arrangements that may go beyond a one-time payment.

FAQs

Will the payment show up in my reporting?

Yes. As a brand, you can find Send Money payments in two places:

  • The influencer's Activity Feed on their profile card

  • Under Payouts > Ad Hoc Payments

The payment will also appear in the influencer's own activity feed once it's processed.

Will these payments be included in the 1099-K?

Yes. Send Money payments are processed through the same Stripe account as your commission payments, so they're combined with all other Endlss payments to that influencer when determining 1099-K eligibility.

If the influencer is US-based and their total payments through Endlss (commissions plus Send Money payments) exceed the requirements, they'll receive a 1099-K reflecting the combined total.
